Mekong River International School Senior Boys Soccer

The VIS senior soccer team competed well in this year’s MRISA, hosted by ISPP from January 28-30 in Phnom Penh.  

KanGo Education and Adventure has been offering students based in Laos the opportunity to travel to Australia for 3 years now.  They have just announced details of their next trip.....a 2 week edu-venture in Brisbane, Australia.

A great community event took place on the morning of 7 February.  Families were having picnics, kids were playing games and dogs were chasing balls.  In the middle of this scene were 22 men -11 representing Rashmis Boys Cricket Club, 11 representing the multinational Corinthians Cricket Club.  The occasion?  Cricket.

On January 26th, 2010 a B-Boy battle was held at the cultural hall in Vientiane, Laos, if you missed the battle, you could catch it on the Lao Star channel. The event was coordinated by the organization Fang Mae Khong (listen to the Mekong River).
