KanGo Education and Adventure has been offering students based in Laos the opportunity to travel to Australia for 3 years now.  They have just announced details of their next trip.....a 2 week edu-venture in Brisbane, Australia.

Last year saw students return to Darwin, Australia.  Here the students studied various activies such as tie-die, 'fire-dancing' and Aussie sports in an English immersion environment.  The activites were of course, on top of the classroom study where the focus was on conversational and academic English.  When the students weren't busy with arts and crafts or developing theatre scripts, they were out and about discovering the highlights of Northern Australia.  They went to see a stage performance of The Blues Brothers, were lucky to be in town to catch the Famous Moscow Circus and spent more than one evening at the Mindil Night Markets, where they could experience the classic Australian beach sunsets whilst being entertained by street performers ranging from Didgeridoo players to Magicians.

This years trip promises to offer the same magic, excitement and learning opportunities as years gone by.  A new location has been set allowing the students to explore both City life and the delights of the Gold Coast.  For the first time KanGo is offering its students homestay, so that Laos students can really get immersed both in the language and culture of Australia.

It is the aim of KanGo trips for its students to develop their confidence, both in language skills and interpersonally.  Activites, as fun as they are, all have been prepared with an educational backdrop.  So when the stduents head off to Warner Brothers Movie World, they will be encouraged to scare themselves on the exciting rides..... but also they will be prepped and supported in getting behind the scenes by interviewing locals and staff.

The upcoming trip to Brisbane takes place between 10 June - 24 June.  Students will be accompanied by teachers from KIS to add to their comfort during the trip.  There are only 30 places available so interested people should not waste time in applying!
