Matchday 3
Han Dao Wan top Group 1 with a comfortable win as IFFC march on impressively in Group 2.
Group 1
Han Dao Wan v Han Dom Gai
In the battle of the restaurants Han Dao Wan (HDW) beat Han Dom Gai (HDG) 3 - 0 to take a commanding lead in the group stages with six points between them and second place. In a match of different pace and energy to last week's Friends v Han Dom Gai 1-1 draw - HDG fielded a different side and lacked any cohesion in their midfield. HDW controlled the game and deservedly gained a bonus point with a notable hatrick from Low.
Group 2
IFFC v 2552 CFC
Both sides were low on numbers but produced an entertaining game for the neutrals. IFFC striker Nouna scored two good goals, one in each half, to leave 2552 without any points or goals from two matches. In a hard but fairly fought match, IFFC's movement from midfield to attack proved too much for 2552 and Leh the 2552 keeper was the busier of the two on show. After their opening 3-0 loss, 2552 put in a much improved performance and were unlucky not score a consolation goal when Boothy's header flashed just wide with the IFFC keeper beaten. However, IFFC were good value for their win and sit comfortably at the top of Group 2.
