A draw between ACAS and Friends means the final Cup place is still up for grabs in Group 1. In Group 2, Bing Bare edged Yulala in a closely contested game to secure their passage into the ACV Cup and guarantee a semi-finals place for IFFC.

Group 1

ACAS 1 Friends 1 (h/t 1-1)

Billed as the game to watch in Group 1 post draw, the fixture lived up to expectations providing an end to end thriller. ACAS took the lead through their play maker Saktoui with an excellent finish drilled into the roof of the net. Friends responded well and began to stretch the ACAS defence and Bae levelled the scores in a goal mouth scramble. Both sides will feel they had chances to win the game in the second half but failed to add to the score. This leaves the second SFL Cup qualification place in the group wide open for three teams and sees Han Dao Wan certain of a Cup run as winners of the group.

Group 2

Bing Bare 2 Yulala 1 (h/t 1-1)

Despite being low in numbers, Yulala fielded a stronger looking line up from their opening match and started the brighter of the two teams. With Nils forcing a save from a fiercely struck free kick and some lively movement up front, Bing Bare were unsettled and Yulala took a deserved lead through Addy. Bing Bare began to find some rhythm and a lapse in marking from Yulala saw Phi Phob find space to level the scores before half time. In the second half Yulala pushed forward in numbers and came close to taking the lead only for Amphone of Bing Bare to score a well taken goal against the run of play to book them a place in the SFL Cup. Bing Bare join IFFC on seven points and equal goal difference in Group 2. The game between the two sides next week will settle first and second place for the semi-final Cup matches . Yulala are third and will go into their final match with confidence after a spirited display to decide the standings for the Vase semi-finals.
