Lao Rugby Federation
The Lao Rugby Federation (LRF) is the governing body for rugby union in the Lao PDR; it is an official sports federation under the Government of the Lao PDR, a full member of the Asian Rugby Football Union and an associate member of the International Rugby Board.
The LRF works at a number of levels; supporting school and community rugby, supporting senior domestic team development, supporting elite rugby for men and women and continuing to develop internal capacities to administer high quality rugby activities in the Lao PDR.
There are currently 4 teams in the LRF
Under the LRF umbrella, there are more than 20 sessions weekly being undertaken for players around Vientiane. The LRF’s successful school and community rugby projects provide rugby participation opportunities for an average of 30 children/youths/adults at each of these sessions.
